Adopting is pretty standard. If you want to adopt I will send over a contract to you for your review and signature along with my Venmo for the down deposit on the kitten. Once I get the deposit I will send over a large email on how to prepare for the little ones arrival which goes over absolutely everything (shots, health record, food, litter, toys, etc..). Throughout the weeks I will update you on milestones and growth and answer any questions you may have. On kitten pickup day we will meet at a Catholic school nearby and that's when you will pay the remaining balance and pick the kitten up. The kitten will be provided with a couple of days of hard food, canned food, a blanket with siblings scent, toys, and most important the health record showing their first vaccination, deworming, and so forth. Kittens can go home on average at 10 weeks old. If I feel they are not ready at 10 weeks, I will keep them longer.
I unfortunately do not allow home visits for various reasons.
The reason being; kittens do not have an existing immune system that can fight off anything brought into the home until a couple weeks after their first vaccine, which happens to line up with when they are going home. For the kitten and the litter's protection, this is a policy I have had to adopt after learning the hard way. Also, the security element of strangers coming in and out of my home (expensive cats can attract criminals). I do however FaceTime!
I do not ship Cargo, but I have met adopters at my local airport to pick the kitten up as their carry on and we do work with a travel nanny which is $600+
I am located in Rhode Island, near Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport
To Join, the waitlist is $300. This $300 allows you to pick a kitten before the public does and locks you in on first pick, second pick, or whatever it may be. If you pass on the litter you will stay on the waitlist for the next litter. If you are first pick, this will still keep you locked in at first pick. If you were second pick and the person before you picked a kitten, this will bump you up to first pick on the next litter. If you decide you want a kitten from the litter your $300 from the waitlist goes towards the kittens overall price. It takes about 4 1/2 weeks to know if the kitten will be a fold or not. Once I know ear sets, I then let the waitlist people decide if they want to adopt. There is a contract for the waitlist, so have an idea of what you want as far as gender and ear sets.
